Sunday Soccer Props: Backing Botheim to Score and Bruno Fernandes to Find the Target
Two different player-prop profiles make the card Sunday: Erik Botheim steps into an elite Viking scoring environment, while Bruno Fernandes brings the cleaner volume-and-matchup case at Fulham.

Sunday’s player-prop card is built around two very different paths to the same idea: finding players positioned to turn opportunity into one winning event.
Erik Botheim Anytime Goal -117
Bruno Fernandes 1+ Shot on Target -148
Botheim is the higher-variance scorer play. Viking added him at the beginning of September after he scored 10 times in 19 Allsvenskan appearances for Malmö, and his first league start for his new club showed exactly what his role can become in this attack. Against Kristiansund, Botheim produced seven shots, five on target, two goals and an assist in 63 minutes.
Bruno is the cleaner volume play. He has started all four of Manchester United’s Premier League matches this season, played every available league minute and generated 16 shots with five on target. We do not need a goal, an assist or a big United performance. We need one attempt from Bruno to make the goalkeeper work.
Those different profiles are why both bets land at 0.5u rather than being treated the same as a full-unit side or total.
What the market is pricing
Botheim’s anytime-goal price of -117 carries an implied probability of roughly 54%.
That is a meaningful number for an anytime scorer, so this is not a case of simply betting the player who scored twice in his last match. The price requires a real scoring role and enough team-level attacking expectation to repeatedly put him in dangerous areas.
Viking supplies that environment.
They enter Sunday 15-2-3 in league play with 51 goals through 20 matches, an average of 2.55 goals per game. They have also been perfect at home at 9-0-0. Botheim is joining an attack that was already creating and finishing chances before he arrived.
Bruno’s 1+ shot on target at -148 asks us to clear an implied probability of about 60%.
Our player-prop model places him comfortably above that threshold at roughly 72% to record at least one shot on target.
That translates to a fair price in the neighborhood of -250, leaving a meaningful gap from the offered -148.
The appeal here is not just the projection. Bruno’s role, shot volume and opponent profile all point in the same direction.
